Dawn is a qualified attorney, certified financial planner, and seasoned compliance specialist with qualifications from South Africa and Ireland. With a legal and financial background spanning back to 1995, she has worked across multiple roles — from legal advisor to compliance manager — and has been offering outsourced compliance services since 2004. A founder of Simply Comply and co-founder of The Compliance Fairies, Dawn is known for simplifying complex regulations and engaging actively with industry regulators and professionals.
Paulette brings over 20 years of experience in financial services, with a strong background in compliance, operations, and client management. Rising through the ranks, she earned awards for service, compliance, and leadership. As Operations Manager at Simply Comply and co-founder of The Compliance Fairies, Paulette leads with a sharp eye for process efficiency and a deep commitment to service excellence. She holds multiple compliance certifications and a Professional Certificate in Compliance from the National University of Ireland.
Charlene is a key part of The Compliance Fairies team, managing day-to-day operations and client support with calm efficiency and a keen eye for detail. With experience in financial services and regulatory admin, she ensures compliance schedules, registers, and documentation are always up to date.
She works closely with clients and compliance officers, assisting with onboarding, FICA and FAIS tasks, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Charlene brings a warm, approachable energy to the team — helping make compliance feel a little less daunting and a lot more doable.
Mari-Lee brings her strong organisational skills and people-focused approach to her role as Compliance Administrator at The Compliance Fairies. With a Bachelor’s degree in Foundation Phase Education, she has a natural talent for structure, communication, and attention to detail — all of which make her a perfect fit for the world of compliance.
She supports the team with administrative tasks, helps maintain up-to-date records, and ensures that clients receive timely, accurate assistance. Mari-Lee’s calm, methodical approach and warm personality make her a valued member of the Fairies family.
